Join us for Miami EcoAdventures’ Citizen Science Project, a monthly volunteer event hosted every 2nd Saturday at Crandon Park offering a unique opportunity to make a difference in our community. By participating, you can help protect our Key Biscayne shorelines and the greater marine environment by tackling the issue of marine debris.
Our team of professional scientists will guide you through the project steps including removing debris from the beach, sorting marine debris into categories, and recording data. Together, we can preserve the health of our beaches and waterways.
Qualifications: Volunteers under 13 must participate with a parent or guardian present.
Commitment Expected: This volunteer event is 3 hours in length.
Please arrive at the scheduled start time. Community service hours will be provided via email following the event.
