Juneteenth Beach Bash

Join us for Historic Virginia Key Beach Park -  2nd Annual Juneteenth Beach Bash, June 14, 2025 at 12:00 PM.
 
The Juneteenth Beach Bash returns for another year to commemorate the Juneteenth Holiday at Historic Virginia Key Beach Park. It serves to unite the community in honoring the legacy at a space that was originally the only beach Black people could recreate in Miami.
 
The day will include free food (while supplies last), fun activities such as bounce houses, water slides, crafts and games and an opportunity to learn about the significance of Juneteenth and the park during the civil rights workshop. Enjoy food from vendors like Sweet Mini Donuts, cold refreshments from Jackson Brother’s IceCream while enjoying the sounds and music performances from DJ Tight, Singer Brigitte Boisson, San Juan USA Drummers and Demetry the steel pan player and many more. Get to know more about local organizations like Engage Miami, Dade Heritage Trust, Rescue Reef, GirlTrek, Juneteenth Pageant Teens, The Mobile Museum of Tolerance and how you can get involved.
