Please be on time as registration begins 30 minutes before the volunteer workday starts. Please arrive at 9:30am!

Please Bring:

Refillable water bottle. Stay hydrated and be prepared to work outside and in the water.

Closed-toe shoes/water shoes are required and long-sleeved shirts are recommended (shorts and clothes that can get wet).

A hat, sunblock, and insect repellent (recommended).

Gloves and trash grabbers (if you have them, otherwise the Miami Waterkeeper will provide all supplies).

The clean-up is weather-dependent and the event will be canceled with at least 24 hours notice if inclement weather is anticipated

The clean-up will take place from 10:00am-1:00pm but you are welcome to leave anytime! It will be at Historic Virginia Key Beach Park.

Parking is provided free of charge. Let the gate attendant know you are here for a beach clean-up and you will be let in for free.
